What we do not like about Ref4bux.com:

Database was corrupted, balances were resetted – Back in October 2012, Ref4bux was hacked and their database was corrupted. They restored 18 days old but clean database. Earnings, ref4points and advertising credits were resetted under the assumption that most members had cashed out within the period of 18 days. Certainly, there were members that didn’t cashed out within that period. Those members lost their balances. Later, Ref4bux offered compensation package 100% to 200% deposit bonus to all members that have been affected.

Redirections and Pop-ups – While you navigate throughout the site you may be redirected to ads provided by other advertising companies or when you click on specific links, it will open a pop up windows. Most users will find this annoying.

Takes Time to Earn a Decent Amount – The earnings are similar to Aurora sites. Ref4bux pays in fractions of a cent from $0.0001 to $0.001 and referral clicks even less. For members without referrals it may be hard to earn and it will take time to reach the minimum payout threshold.

You can earn advertising credits or cash.

General Conclusion:

Ref4Bux is almost 2 years old and paying PTC program, where you can earn a little extra money by doing simple tasks such as viewing ads and completing offers. In October 2011 he site was hacked, fortunately they managed to recover from the attack and continued to operate successfully. Ref4Bux have been moved back to our Legit List, however we would recommend to test the site before investing upfront, and never invest more than you can afford to lose.
